Polyurethane Round Drive Belting is also named as Polyurethane Round Belt (PU round belt), it is a kind of belt made of polyurethane which is a circular cross-section belt designed to run in a pulley with a 60 degree V-groove.
Classification
Mainly sorted by technology craft of the belt surface, Polyurethane Round Drive Belting can be divided into two classifications.
- Smooth Surface Round Belt
- Rough Surface Round Belt
Smooth surface round belt is being made according the shine surface craftting technology.
Rough Surface round belt offers better frictional coefficient while working under the power transmission system. The belt looks like matt on the surface.
In contrast,normally the price of rough belt is 5-20% higher than the smooth belt.
Polyurethane belt size
The round belt is made in strip size, so the size can be calculated with diameter and length. The belt size is really customizable, but most polyurethane round belt suppliers will add the following size to their collection (mostly have stock):

Belt package
The Polyurethane Round Drive Belting has two different packages according to belt size.
1, Size under or equal φ9 mm will be packed in a rubber plastic shaft to hole the belt, as the smaller belt diameter with less strength, it is not convenient in loading and unloading shipment.
2, Size above φ9mm will be rolled without shaft, and tile with platic rope.
